CPR Course Offerings

��Ĵ�ý’s Corporate Education, in collaboration with Prairie Lakes Healthcare System, offers American Heart Association (AHA) certified CPR courses. These include Basic Life Support (BLS), Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)

Course Formats:

Online Learning with In-Person Skills Validation: The BLS and Heartsaver courses are available through online modules, followed by an in-person Skills Validation session at Lake Area Tech. Participants must complete the online portion before attending the hands-on session .
Instructor-Led On-Site Training: For groups of six or more, Lake Area Tech offers the option to conduct the full four-hour instructor-led class either on-site at the business location or on the LATC campus, upon request .

Certification Details:

Upon successful completion of the course and skills validation, participants receive an AHA eCard, valid for two years.
The course fee includes the cost of the certification card.

On-campus classes are held in the Automotive Technology building, room 714.

A strict no-refund policy is enforced after registration, as instructors are scheduled based on participant numbers and will be rescheduled up to 72 hours prior to class with less than 3 registrations

Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider Courses

The online HeartCode® BLS Health Care Provider course is designed for professional healthcare providers including EMTs, paramedics, fire fighters, in-facility hospital providers, dental, and chiropractic clinics. The class is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that uses adaptive learning technology to allow learners to acquire and demonstrate Basic Life Support skills using a personalized learning path that adapts in real time to a learner’s performance.

These prices are for the online portion that is completed prior to class

The course has two segments:

1. HeartCode® BLS Online Course (use link below to access)
BLS knowledge and skills are presented using a variety of eLearning assets such as dramatizations, Cognitive Assessment Activities, illustrations, knowledge checks, and interactive activities. This method of learning provides training consistency and adaptability to different learning styles. Students can work at their own pace applying their knowledge to real-time decision making. Debriefings and coaching are provided immediately after each knowledge check and each Cognitive Assessment Activity. To access the HeartCode® BLS online class, click here: . After successfully completing the online segment of the class, print your certificate and bring it with you to the Skills Validation class. You will not be able to complete the class without it.
